Nutex Health, Inc. West Little Rock ER & Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Representative (PRN) for part-time shifts to support patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and front desk operations.

The role emphasizes confidentiality and safety while delivering a welcoming and efficient patient experience. The position requires strong communication, organization, and EMR proficiency to ensure accurate billing, smooth patient flow, and adherence to hospital policies in a fast-paced emergency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PSR role within a hospital, ER, or clinic.
• Experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and guests with a cheerful demeanor; determine necessary services and direct patients accordingly; collect demographic information and ensure proper signatures.
• Financial Responsibilities: Collect payments via cash, checks, and credit card; maintain a financial ledger and daily reconciliation.
• Facility Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the facility, including patient areas and restrooms.
• Communication Skills: Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
• Professional Development: Attend monthly staff meetings and engage in improvement activities.
• Other Duties: Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
