Responsibilities

• Interviews each patient or representative to obtain complete and accurate demographic, financial and insurance information.
• Enters all patient information into the registration system.
• Obtains necessary signatures and forms required by third-party payers.
• Reads physicians' orders to determine procedures and instructs patients accordingly.
• Escorts patient to assigned room and updates patient accounts.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information per policy and HIPAA.
