Responsibilities

• Greets guests with a positive and professional attitude.
• Collects and verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
• Enters patient details into the registration system accurately.
• Explains financial responsibilities and collects self-pay amounts when applicable.
• Assists patients with directions and general hospital information.
• Maintains confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and EMTALA protocols.
• Coordinates to ensure timely room assignment and smooth workflow.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the department.
