Job summary

Nutex Health operates the emergency center in The Colony, TX and seeks a Patient Access Representative (FT, Day) to manage check-in/check-out and patient data with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The PAR will greet patients, verify demographics, collect co-pays, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth admissions and scheduling. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Access/registration role in a hospital, ER, or clinic.
• Experience with ER medical registration, admitting, and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect demographic information for billing accuracy.
• Direct patients to services and handle phone inquiries professionally.
• Maintain logs, signatures, and ensure scheduling accuracy.
• Collect co-pays and reconcile patient accounts daily.
• Assist with facility cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
