Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Patient Support Lead for the Emergency Department patient access team. You will oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure accurate patient registration with a focus on timely service and compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, EPIC proficiency, and strong communication skills. The role involves cross-training, on-call coverage, and adherence to hospital policies in a high-stress environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of healthcare experience in ambulatory or hospital setting with provider interaction.
• Two to three years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC recommended; pass EPIC competency.
• Strong communication and keyboarding skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations for patient access in the emergency department.
• Provide leadership coverage and presence to registration staff on weekends.
• Organize workload, schedule breaks, monitor queues to complete work.
• Order supplies and ensure forms are stocked.
• Provide training to new staff and cross-train across departments.
