Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Patient Access Representative in a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Prior experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: Greet patients, determine services needed, collect demographics, obtain signatures for billing, and manage phone inquiries.
• Financial Responsibilities: Collect co-pays, credit card payments, and reconcile patient accounts.
• Facility Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, including patient areas and restrooms.
• Communication Skills: Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff while upholding core values.
• Professional Development: Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Other Duties: Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
