Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support the emergency center's check-in/out process during night shifts. The role emphasizes friendly front desk service, accurate data collection, and respectful interaction with patients and staff.

You will work with EMR systems, collect demographics and payments, and help maintain a clean, organized environment while upholding confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Patient Access Representative role in a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Experience with medical registration, admitting and ER scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: greet patients, collect demographics, verify signatures for billing and answer phone inquiries.
• Financial Responsibilities: collect co-pays and balances, reconcile patient accounts daily.
• Facility Cleanliness: help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communication Skills: interact professionally with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Professional Development: participate in staff meetings and improvement activities.
• Other Duties: assist management with additional tasks as assigned.
