Job summary

Greet patients, collect demographics, and direct services to appropriate departments in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining EMR accuracy, and supporting cleanliness and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Patient Access Representative in a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Prior experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: greet patients, determine services, collect demographic information, manage phone inquiries, maintain a welcoming environment.
• Financial Responsibilities: collect payments and reconcile patient accounts.
• Facility Cleanliness: assist in maintaining cleanliness of patient areas and restrooms.
• Communication Skills: interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Professional Development: attend monthly staff meetings and engage in performance improvement activities.
• Other Duties: assist management with tasks or projects as assigned.
