Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks an experienced ER RN for nights and weekend shifts at a 20-bed facility. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.

Requirements include ADN with PA RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and Act 33/73 clearances. BSN preferred. Benefits include shift differentials, 401K match, referral bonuses, and free parking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or comparable area.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the AHA or ARC.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within the last 5 years or before start.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-specific nursing care in the ED.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and report signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and assist with interventions.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
