Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks an ED RN for a full-time swing shift in a 20-bed small-format hospital. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating emergency patient care with weekend coverage on Friday–Sunday.

Requirements include 2+ years ER experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC preferred. We offer night/weekend differentials, a 401(k) match, referral bonuses, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in ER or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken.
• PA candidates: Act 33/Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, specialty nursing care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Complete accurate, concise medical record documentation.
• Observe and record vital signs, symptoms and behaviors.
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing interventions.
• Collect specimens and perform lab testing per policy and CLIA/COLA.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique during care.
• Handle admission, discharge and transfer processes.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures as needed.
