Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. This full-time night-shift role offers exposure to diverse emergencies, with a focus on teamwork and high-quality patient care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes, while maintaining clinical leadership and top-of-license practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required. BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of recent RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and support staff to coordinate care.
• Utilize critical thinking and communication to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
