Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Belfast, ME. This is a full-time, 36-hour/week night shift with rotating weekends. The ED cares for adults, pediatrics, and the critically ill, with a 13-bed unit and a 3-bed behavioral health area.

The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the team, and meet KSAs including RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS timing, and neonatal/fetal monitoring competencies. A sign-on bonus applies for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license; BLS required or within 30 days of start.
• ICU/ED/PACU RN certifications: ACLS and PALS within 1 year or per guidelines.
• Experience: One year RN experience preferred.
• Additional: Fetal Monitoring competency required for Laboring Women.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborate and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Skills
