Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, night shift. You will provide direct patient care in Telemetry, coordinate with physicians, and mentor team members while upholding nursing standards.

Requirements include active RN licensure in the state, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC within specified timelines; ER experience preferred. A BSN is desirable, with additional site-specific certifications required within 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice in Telemetry.
• Guide patient/family teaching and activities of nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physician.
