Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Charles Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department in a fast-paced, high‑acuity environment.

You will assess patient status, determine priorities, implement care plans and collaborate with an interprofessional team to achieve optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and is prepared to obtain required certifications promptly.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active in-state required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Recent ER or Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced setting with a focus on outcomes.
• Update and revise care plans to achieve expected results.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications safely per policy and practice.
