Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a registered nurse to assess patient status, determine priorities, and implement clinical nursing interventions in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop and perform care plans, and administer medications safely per policy.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with an associates or bachelor's degree in nursing. ACLS/PALS are preferred and may be required within 6 months of hire. EPIC EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire if not current.
• 16+ months of RN experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Assess patient status and determine priority of problems and needs.
• Develop and perform patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedure.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and provide care across a broad patient population.
