Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS valid within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS valid within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS valid within 30 days of employment start date.
• APRN or RN license is required to apply.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma is required.
• 1 year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management with reassessments.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered; document care promptly in medical records.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to provide exceptional care.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures; translate complex terms for understanding.
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures and prepare for future self-management.
