You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess and treat patients, educate families, and ensure safe, effective care plans. This position requires RN licensure and multiple certifications with quick start requirements.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• TNCC within 1 year of start date.
• Active RN license (RN).
• Associate or Bachelor degree, or RN diploma.
• PALS within 90 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring or other functions as ordered; documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
