Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time night-shift position focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will perform assessments, develop and update care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the nursing process and care plans.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments per standards of care.
• Document patient status and respond to changes in condition.
