Qualifications

• BSN is required; active Illinois RN license is mandatory.
• BLS certification required; ADN may be accepted if BSN pursued within three years.
• Ability to perform assessment, care planning and patient education per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop an individualized care plan.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and discharge plans.
• Document care and patient progress accurately in the record.
• Ensure safety and adhere to standards of care and compliance.
