Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Staff Nurse Inpatient for the Emergency Department, working a night shift with on-call commitment and every other weekend. Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current State of Illinois RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• ADN acceptable with plan to obtain BSN within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data, plan individualized care, and coordinate delivery of nursing services.
• Direct care and manage any nursing support personnel involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and staff to document care plans and outcomes.
• Participate in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Document patient responses and adjust plans based on evaluation and evidence.
