Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main Hospital, Night Shift (36 hours/week) from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in Dallas, with rotating weekends and holidays.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications, and emphasizes patient-centered care and a collaborative approach with the health care team. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience required.
• ER/ED experience preferred in high-acuity setting.
• Current TX RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per Texas Nurse Practice Act.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement plans of care.
• Coordinate care with health care team and family education.
• Serve as Charge Nurse on rotation; precept new staff.
• Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
