Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our night shift team in Dallas. The RN coordinates patient care using the nursing process, conducts assessments, develops and implements individualized plans, and collaborates with the health care team to ensure safe, efficient patient transitions and prevent delays.

Requirements: graduate from an accredited nursing program; active Texas RN license (or valid compact); current BLS for Healthcare Providers; SAMA

Qualifications

• Must have two years of nursing experience.
• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license (Texas Board of Nursing) or valid compact license.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• SAMA certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered nursing care per nursing process and Parkland standards.
• Coordinate and delegate interventions; monitor patient progress and outcomes.
• Participate in hand-offs at shift changes and ensure safe patient transitions.
