Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at the Main Hospital Building. The RN will coordinate patient care using established nursing processes, assess patient needs, and develop individualized plans of care for high-acuity cases.

Requirements include a Texas RN license (or compact license), completion of a nurse residency, and current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC with TNCC/ATCN within 90 days. Night shift with rotating weekends and holidays offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Nurse residency completion required.
• 14–18 months of ED/ER nursing experience in a high-acuity environment preferred.
• Current RN license in TX or valid compact license.
• BLS, ALS/ACLS, and PALS/ENPC; TNCC/ATCN within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care.
• Document accurately and maintain patient records.
• Ensure safe medication administration and IV access.
