Job summary

WellStar invites experienced Emergency Department RNs to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool, delivering patient-centered care across multiple facilities. You’ll triage, administer medications, and respond to codes while traveling between WellStar campuses.

Requirements include 2+ years of ED RN experience, Georgia RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS; BSN preferred. This role offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to impact patients wherever you’re needed most.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with WellStar standards.
