Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an ED RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. You will provide fast, patient-centered emergency care across Wellstar facilities, with a travel-friendly schedule and dynamic shifts.

Bring 2+ years of ED experience, a BSN preferred, and an active GA or Compact RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS. TNCC or ATCN is a plus. You’ll collaborate with physicians and teams to deliver safe, compassionate care while adapting to varied clinical settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct ED RN experience.
• BSN preferred; accredited nursing program graduate.
• Active RN license (GA or Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC or ATCN preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.
