Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. You will provide expert, compassionate care across WellStar facilities, stepping in where needed most in fast-paced ED settings.

Shifts include evenings, and travel between facilities is routine. Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience is required; active RN license in Georgia (or Compact) with BLS, ACLS, and PALS is expected. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• 2+ years of ED RN experience
• BSN preferred or graduate of accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care including assessment, triage, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans
• Respond to codes and critical situations promptly
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation per WellStar standards
