Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for the W.E.S.T. Float Pool to support WellStar facilities across the network.

This role offers varied shifts and exposure to multiple ED environments, delivering nurse-led, patient-centered care in fast-paced settings. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of ED experience, current RN licensure in GA or a compact state, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, with TNCC or ATCN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience.
• Active RN license (GA or Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC or ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, including assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond quickly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately and timely per WellStar standards.
