Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. You will provide expert, patient‑centered care across Wellstar facilities, moving between locations as needed.

This role requires at least 2 years of ED RN experience, active RN license (GA or Compact), and BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC or ATCN preferred. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC/ATCN preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care including assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.
