Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia seeks an experienced Emergency Nurse (RN) to join the W.E.S.T. Float Team, traveling between WellStar facilities to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced ED settings.

The role requires minimum 2 years ED RN experience, GA license (or Compact), BLS/ACLS/PALS, with TNCC/ATCN preferred. BSN preferred and collaboration with physicians and teams are essential. Expect ongoing growth within a supportive health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, ED RN experience.
• BSN preferred or higher.
• Active RN license (GA or Compact).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC or ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care: assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation per WellStar standards.
