Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department role. This non-exempt position offers a 7a-7p schedule with mixed 8-hour shifts, including holiday coverage, and a signing bonus potential. Hiring range: $52.50–$57.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN; ACLS certification as applicable to unit.
• Equivalency allowed with education and experience per department policy.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
