Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in Emergency Room. You will use the Nursing Process to assess and plan care from admission to discharge, coordinate discharge planning, and supervise care within your unit.

The role requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and preferably a BSN. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for external hires; schedule includes 7pm-7:30am, every third weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure is required and BLS certification is mandatory.
• BSN is highly preferred; experience in emergency or acute care is beneficial.
• Ability to perform nursing processes and patient assessments per standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Develops and coordinates plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Documents care, supports education plans for patient/family, and participates in quality initiatives.
