Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process. This full-time role involves 3am-11:30am shifts with every other weekend and holiday, and a competitive starting range with sign-on eligibility.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, medication administration and collaboration with physicians and staff to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS current or in progress.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Conducts patient assessments and coordinates discharge planning.
• Administers medications and assists physicians.
• Collaborates with care teams to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintains documentation per policy.
