Job summary

Mount Carmel St. Ann's Emergency Department in Ohio is seeking a Staff RN to work the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), three 12-hour shifts per week with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, the RN provides patient-centered care, collaborates with the care team, and ensures safety, documentation, and quality outcomes. This role offers strong growth opportunities within Mount Carmel Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing program with active RN license in Ohio.
• Current Ohio RN license required.
• For casual RNs, 2 years of experience required; new grads may enter Nurse Residency.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, and upholds quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates care for a group of patients using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborates with patients and families to develop care plans.
• Communicates pertinent information to the care team promptly.
• Keeps patient/family informed and engaged in care decisions.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Assumes accountability for care provided by others as appropriate.
