Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 12-hour night shift in Ohio. The RN will provide holistic care, collaborate with the care team, and apply the Nursing Process within organizational standards.

Qualifications include graduation from nursing school and an active Ohio RN license; 2 years for Casual RNs, with a Nurse Residency program for new grads. Mount Carmel offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety and promotes quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care and collaborates with patient/family on a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes according to standards.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
