Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Mount Carmel Dublin will provide comprehensive patient care in a new 12-hour night shift setting, three shifts per week from 7pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. The RN works within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, partnering with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and honor patient preferences.

Requirements include graduation from nursing school and an active Ohio RN license; new grads may enroll in the Nurse Residency Program and

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New grads may participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates care for a group of patients.
• Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Maintains accountability for care provided by others when appropriate.
