Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff LPN for the Emergency Department to provide direct patient care and collaborate with the health care team. The role involves 36 scheduled hours per week on the day shift, with flexible availability for rotating schedules.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, BLS certification, and a commitment to safety and compassionate patient care. This is a hospital-based position with no supervisory responsibilities and opportunities to contribute to patient care

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and active practice.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing health assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement care plans with the health care team.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed staff per state regulations and monitor performance.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families.
