Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Lilburn, GA is hiring an RN Emergency Department Flow Coordinator for full-time night shifts. The role supports ED operations, patient flow, and clinical coordination to ensure timely, safe patient care; sign-on bonus up to $15K is available.

You will collaborate with ED staff, provide nursing care from admission to discharge, and participate in quality initiatives. Requirements include RN licensure in Georgia, 1 year ED experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIH

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program; RN licensure required in Georgia.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience required.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS required; CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collects data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Organizes data into a plan of care and identifies outcomes.
• Carries out the care plan to achieve outcomes.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides patient education resources.
• Communicates issues to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician as appropriate.
• Documents care and concerns in the patient record.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities.
