Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator, an RN role, for full-time night shifts. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available.

The position supports adult and pediatric patient flow, coordinating with MDs and bedside staff to optimize throughput. Responsibilities include directing the team on prioritization, coordinating admissions/transfers, and maintaining ED metrics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience as an RN required.
• RN licensure for Georgia required; BCLS/ACLS/PALS required; CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care from birth through lifecycle using nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in ED.
• Lead quality/process improvement initiatives in the ED.
• Ensure ED protocols are followed and patient flow is optimized.
