Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking experienced RN s to join our Emergency Department Float Pool. We float to EDs and designated acute care areas, providing essential clinical support across shifts in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; degree will be verified.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in fast-paced emergency care environments.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and initiate interventions.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per organizational policies and standards.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Adapt to varying workflows, patient volumes, and acuity levels while maintaining quality and safety.
• Support a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
