Job summary

Intermountain Health's Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO seeks an experienced Emergency Department Float Pool RN to provide high-quality care across acute care settings.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and trauma teams, float to ED and other units as needed, and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork. Current RN license, BLS, BSN required; 1 year ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• Minimum one (1) year of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN is Required. Degree will be verified.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four (4) years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in emergency settings.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and trauma teams to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
