Job summary

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO delivers high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced ED. You will assess, triage, treat, and discharge patients, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure timely, evidence-based interventions.

You bring an ADN (BSN preferred), MO RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS (TNCC/ATCN desired), 1–2 years ED/critical care experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Current, unrestricted RN license in MO.
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC/ATCN certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

Conduct rapid, thorough patient assessments and triage in the ED to prioritize care.
Provide direct nursing care, including medications, procedures, and interventions per protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team; communicate with patients and families.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
Advocate for patients and educate families about conditions and follow-up care.
Engage in professional development and contribute to teamwork and quality improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
