Job summary

Bothwell Regional Health Center is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ED. The RN will perform triage, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely interventions from arrival to discharge.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN with 1–2 years of ED or critical care experience, and an MO RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS. BSN preferred; TNCC/ATCN and ENPC are desirable.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years in ED or critical care preferred.
• Certifications: Current MO RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC/ATCN and ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients, initiate care based on severity.
• Administer medications and perform procedures per orders and protocols.
• Monitor and reassess patient status; collaborate with physicians and team.
• Document all care in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge guidance.
• Participate in rounds, quality improvement, and training.
