Job summary

Experience: 1–2 years in ED or critical care. Licenses/certifications: MO RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS; trauma certifications (TNCC/ATCN) required; ENPC

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department or critical care setting.
• Current MO RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS and trauma certifications (TNCC/ATCN) required; ENPC preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients on arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Administer medications and perform procedures per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop care plans.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and ensure safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up.
• Participate in quality improvement and department meetings.
