Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is offering the New ER Doctor (NERD) program to transform practicing veterinarians into confident VEG ER doctors through a six-month immersion with hands-on casework and mentorship.

You will train across state-of-the-art hospitals, perform surgeries, advance endoscopy skills, and learn exotic care while embracing VEG’s customer-focused approach. VEG supports your growth and offers robust training and benefits.

Formación

• A passion for helping people and their pets.
• Be a practicing veterinarian for 1+ years.
• A DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree and a valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
• A valid DEA registration in the state you will be starting the program.
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and lift up to 25 kg, with assist.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Desire to live and breathe emergency medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Work side-by-side with VEG doctors through real ER cases with mentorship.
• Gain hands-on ER experience with 3–4 hospital shifts per week (days, swing and nights).
• Learn client-centered communication and the VEG Way.
