Job summary

WCS Healthcare Partners' Emergency Department in a community hospital seeks an experienced nurse leader to guide a 25–30 RN team. This role centers on enhancing departmental culture, accountability, and operational excellence, with a focus on mentoring staff and shaping the department's future direction.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (about 8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM) with after-hours on-call for operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of ED nursing experience.
• 1-2 years leadership as Assistant Nurse Manager/Director or similar role.
• Strong staff coaching and accountability skills.
• Excellent documentation and regulatory oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Emergency Department team effectively.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
• Address performance concerns and enforce standards consistently.
• Engage with staff and department operations actively.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
