Job summary

AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith in Ashland, Oregon, is seeking a Manager of the Emergency Department to lead a 24/7 ED serving about 35 patients daily. You will partner with the Director of Operations and CNCO to guide clinical operations and staffing, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff engagement.

The role requires a BSN, active RN license, and at least five years of progressive ED nursing leadership. CNML and TNCC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an Emergency Department.
• CNML and TNCC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and nursing leadership for the Emergency Department at Asante Ashland.
• Oversee a small, well-staffed team reporting to the Director of Operations.
• Establish clear expectations, mentor staff, and coordinate resources during transitions.
• Lead change thoughtfully while maintaining a close-knit department culture.
