Job summary

107 The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a Part-time CT Technologist I at Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department in Charlotte. You will perform CT procedures following departmental protocols, operate CT scanners and related equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, acquiring quality images, coordinating with radiologists, and maintaining equipment and patient records.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine required; CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient orders and confirm with Radiologist before exam.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent as needed.
• Prepare patients, position them, and document medical history.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensure image quality and safety.
• Administer IV contrast per department protocol and monitor patient response.
