HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in Moncks Corner, SC, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Department. You will lead nursing care, coordinate multiple functions, and partner with the management team to drive quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

You will guide staff development, participate in scheduling and staffing decisions, and contribute to process improvements while upholding the hospital’s mission and values.

Formación

• RN license in state of practice or compact license
• BCLS required within 30 days of employment
• ACLS required within 90 days of employment
• Associate/Bachelor degree in nursing or RN diploma with current clinical competency

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to boost engagement.
• Assists with staff interviewing, hiring, and training; recommends actions, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and supplies/equipment management.
