HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Emergency Room. The CNC ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates unit functions during shifts, directing nursing care and serving as a resource for staff within hospital policies and values.

In collaboration with the management team, you will improve patient outcomes, support nursing strategies, participate in staffing decisions, and lead efforts to enhance throughput and service delivery.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice/compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and high-quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care in the unit with management.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to boost engagement.
• Assists with interviewing, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Manages inventory control and supplies/equipment.
