Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years insurance/clerical experience in a hospital or medical office preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Register ED patients quickly, creating accounts within 90 seconds of arrival.
• Enter accurate demographics and insurance information into the system.
• Perform insurance eligibility/benefit verification and document in the system.
• Collect co-pays/deductibles at discharge and explain financial responsibilities.
• Assist with patient flow and support clinical partners as needed.
